Job Description:
  • We are seeking experienced health care professionals to join our team to participate in the daily operations of a new hospital-based Newborn Hearing Screening Program in Lafayette, LA
  • Only candidates local to Lafayette, LA area need apply
  • As a Hearing Screener, you will perform hearing screening tests 
  • Follow-up with the parents of newborns, keep complete and accurate records of tests performed 
  • Adhere to proper reporting and referral procedures
  • Training is provided
Qualifications:

  • Be able to interact well with patients, physicians and hospital staff 
  • Be committed to service excellence
  • Have the ability to thrive in a busy and fast paced environment
  • Experience working on an inpatient hospital unit is preferred, but not required
  • High School/GED required.
