Job Description:
  • Position and assemble parts according to Integrated Work Institutions (IWIs)
  • Perform Operation Verification (OV) or log assembles products to Quality Inspection as required
  • Keep assemble department clean and free of foreign object debris
  • Keep Production Manager advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments
  • Have a high paced work ethic that is focused on safety and quality of the product
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience; Applicants must successfully complete the FastStart Pre-Employment training (detailed above)
  • Physical requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job
  • The employee must be able to safely move parts and tools onto and off of the aircraft an to use/manipulate objects-such as tools and parts- with a high degree of precision
  • Employee must also be able to safely access and/or work in all parts of the aircraft for the purpose of completing the assembly; this may require the employee to work in confined spaces and at heights, to perform overhead work, and/or to work from step stools, creepers, scissor lifts, lift platforms, and/or aircraft structures without handrails
