Job Description:
  • Perform composite repairs on aircraft components in accordance with FAA and OEM requirements
  • Rotor blade repair activities include sanding, cleaning, and blade specific maintenance
  • Minor repairs and balancing of Main and Tail rotor blades
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1 year blade repair experience and knowledge of all facets of blade repair preferred
  • Must possess the ability to: Communicate effectively; Operate a personal computer; Have attention to detail and follow directions, both written and verbal; Maintain good eye-hand coordination; Work well in a team oriented environment
  • Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job
  • The employee must be able to safely move parts and tools onto and off of the work areas and to use/manipulate objects-such as tools and parts-with a high degree of precision
  • Employee must also be able to safely access and/or work in all parts of the production floor; this may require the employee to stand for long periods of time
