Job Title: House Keeper

Job Description:
  • Cleans the facility, its furniture and equipment that includes but is not limited to scrubbing, polishing, vacuum cleaning, mopping, dusting, sanitizing and removing trash
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the housekeeping storage room and its supplies and equipment. This includes but is not limited to organizing supply orders, washing rags and mop heads, cleaning dryer filters, vacuuming floor and wiping of cleaning equipment
  • May operate washing machine and dryer. Load and unload linen from washing machines and dryers using proper loading techniques
  • May deliver clean and folded linen to service areas
  • Routinely check and clean facility to remove debris and litter to maintain cleanliness
  • Operating vacuum cleaner. Change filters and bags
  • Organizes cleaning supplies as needed
  • Responsible for restocking of supplies and assist with restocking of linen
  • Collect lost and found items and store these in appropriate lost and found bins
  • Notify the Facilities Manager of any maintenance problems
  • Other duties and/or projects as requested by the Facilities Manager and or management
Qualifications:
  • Work experience: Housekeeping experience preferred
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Completes tasks efficiently, neatly and on a timely basis
  • Great customer service skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to organize workflow
  • Professional mannerism and ability to work in a team
  • Maintains a positive attitude at all times
  • Complies with required safety regulations and procedures
  • Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
  • Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees
  • Physical ability to do the job duties as listed
  • May required standing/walking for an extended period of time
  • Wide variety of physical activity that may required the ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less throughout the work day
  • May be required to work some evenings or on weekends and/or holidays
