Job Description:
- Provides solutions and assistance for customer networks
- This includes server and network installation/troubleshooting as well as an escalation point for the help desk
- Enterprise Data Concepts offer full IT solutions for local businesses
- Work varies depending on needs of customers
- Minimum 2 years experience in a business IT environment
- Degree in IT related field or equivalent work experience required
- Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare certifications or experience highly desirable. (A+ certification will be required within 90 days. Higher level IT industry certifications can be substituted for A+)
- Experience in maintaining Windows workstations including, but not limited to, device management, policies, services, and user management. Consultants must be able to handle workstation issues that are escalated from the help desk
- Experience with maintaining Windows based networks included Windows Server and Active Directory
- Experience with some or all of the following: routers, access points, mobile device management, and virtual environments
- Strong technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills required. Consultants work independently and need project management skills
- Strong communication skills required
- Ability to communicate efficiently with clients
- Due to the nature of outsourced IT services, organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and work efficiently with frequently changing conditions are needed in this position
