Job Description:
  • Cleans, assembles, upgrades, and repairs computer equipment
  • Install and configure Satellite data communications networks
  • Install or repair Windows computers with standardized applications, Logging software and networking software, diagnosing and solving problems that develop in their operations
  • Performs installation, maintenance, and support of hardware and software
  • Follows established procedures and IT guidelines and timelines, for logging unit equipment, preventative maintenance programs and system implementations
  • Evaluates needs for new and revised systems; identifies possible improvements in computer systems; makes recommendations for purchase of new information systems hardware and software
  • Respond to user questions and explain the operation of network applications and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with department policies, procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree/Technical Diploma In Electronics or computer related field or 2 years related experience preferred
  • Requires offshore and land rig location
  • Applicants must be able to pass drug and alcohol screen tests
  • Must have reliable transportation
