Job Description:
- The Property Manager is responsible for all aspects of property accountability, directs the
property management program and serves as the programs property book officer - The Property Manager oversees the programs hand-receipt holder accounts and ensures the
timely keeping of property records - The Property Manager is responsible for all assigned, issued, leased, loaned, or borrowed equipment and facilities, and maintains accountability of all equipment transferred into and out of the program
- Additionally, the Property Manager directs and supervises the issuance, inventorying, and accountability of supplies in accordance with all applicable regulations and local policies and procedures
- Requests required support and directs the efforts of all personnel assigned on an ad hoc basis to property management functions. Reports to the Logistics Lead
Required Skills:
- SECRET Clearance
- 5+ years property management experience in the following areas:
- Experience and knowledge on a broad range of property and supply management policies
and processes - Knowledge of specialized methods and techniques to analyze and evaluate the effective and
efficiency of supply programs and/or operations - Proficiency with AR 735-5, Supply bulletin 700-20
- Familiarity with Item Unique Identification Device (IUID)
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR and any other applicable regulations
- Experience with GCSS-A
- Good written and oral communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Brigade level Property Book Officer (PBO) experience
