Job Description:
  • Work as a Data Center Administrator/Senior Technical Engineer to perform various IT-related tasks. A sampling of those tasks is listed below:
  • Monitor and continuously update Storage Systems and Network Security Systems for multiple Data Centers
  • Oversee data flow from Customer sites to U.S. Computer Data Centers
  • Administer System Infrastructure for Disaster Recovery and Application Hosting
  • Provide internal escalated support to Level 1 and Level 2 U.S. Computer technicians
  • Assist with Customer-related service requests
  • Assist with research as well as implementation of proactive measures to ensure the highest possible up time performance for Customer and USC Infrastructures
Qualifications: 
  • The successful candidate will have the following as a minimum:
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in the IT field
  • Advanced knowledge of, and experience with Windows Server Operating Systems (i.e. Server 2008/2012/2016, Exchange 2013/2016, SQL 2012/2014,2016 etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of virtualization and mid-level Infrastructures. Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in VMware and Hyper-V, as well as Backup and Disaster Recovery systems administration
  • Advanced knowledge of, and experience with various Infrastructure Systems, such as Storage Systems, Server Systems, Network/Security Appliances (Routers, Firewalls, Switches, etc.). Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in IBM/Lenovo Storage & Server Systems, Fortinet Network/Security Appliances, and various Backup/Replication/DR Applications
  • Customer focus, courtesy and a sense-of-urgency
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Clear speech, proper grammar, personable demeanor
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, documentation and organizational skills
  • Neat, well-groomed and well-dressed appearance
  • Must be dependable, have a positive attitude, be a “team player”, and be able to manage multiple client projects/issues simultaneously, work independently, maintain good records, and work well under pressure
  • Must be able to pass substance abuse testing
  • Must have a good driving record as this position will require you to drive company owned vehicles on a frequent basis 
  • Additional consideration will be given to candidates with the following:
  • MTA – (Microsoft Technology Associate) – emphasis: IT Infrastructure
  • MCSA – (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) – emphasis: Windows Server
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
  • VCP (VMware Certified Professional)
  • Other pertinent industry certification(s)
  • College Degree
