Job Description: 
  • Maddie’s Footprints is seeking a part-time intern to assist with public relations activities and special event coordinating responsibilities
  • The intern will assist staff with community awareness efforts which may include: distributing brochures, flyers, etc… to area businesses to promote programs and upcoming events and attend community events such as health fairs to promote the organization
  • The intern may also be involved with tasks associated with special events and fundraisers such as requesting/dropping off/pick up of donation items, picking up vendor related items, set-up for events and assistance during event
  • The intern will be supervised and work directly under the Executive Director to coordinate all efforts
  • Hours may be flexible and an average of five per week
Qualifications:
  • Some college courses with an interest in charitable work and/or communications, community relations, public relations, and marketing
