Job Description:
- Seeking full-time employees for a position in the computer industry
- IT consultant who provides solutions and assistance for customer networks
- This includes server and network installation/troubleshooting as well as an escalation point for the help desk
- Company offers full IT solutions for local businesses
- Work varies depending on needs of customers
- Minimum 2 years experience in business IT environment
- Degree in IT related field or equivalent work experience required
- Microsoft, A+, Cisco, VMWare certifications highly desirable. (A+ certification will be required within 90 days at the expense of the employee if hired without certification)
- Experience in maintaining Windows workstations including, but not limited to, device management, policies, services and user management
- Experience with maintaining Windows based networks included Windows Server, Active Directory, routers, access points, mobile devices and virtual environments
- Strong technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills required
- Consultants work independently and need project management skills
- Strong communication skills required ability to communicate efficient with end users and managers in professional environments
- Due to the nature of outsourced IT services, organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and work efficiently with frequently changing conditions are needed in this position
