Job Description:
  • Experienced Screed Operator needed for asphalt crew
  • Safe operation of equipment and safe actions while on the work site and in company vehicles is mandatory
  • In addition to safe and experienced operation of the screed and other asphalt laying equipment; the position requires physical labor in the form of raking, shoveling, maintaining equipment, climbing, lifting, visual assessment of work being completes, ability to hear and understand verbal direction  and walking on uneven surfaces
  • This Work Scope /Job Description are a general description of the basic job function, skills, knowledge and abilities, and the general duties of the position
  • The Work Scope does not necessarily include all the duties which may be required of an equipment operator
  • Work Scopes may be revised as needed
Qualifications:
  • Previous and successful experience as a screed operator on an asphalt crew is required
  • Must be willing to travel within the State
