Job Description:
  • Resolve root cause of issues discovered in testing post development. This includes proper use of tools to discover root cause. Developer will be required to discover root cause of problems in code the developer has not developed personally.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of development best practices and must be willing to review work with project leads.
  • Other responsibilities include:
  • Work directly with other technical/functional analysts and business users in understanding the information needs of the business and designing and developing code to meet the requirements
  • Work with the functional team to ensure understanding of requirements and technical specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3+ years of J2EE design and development experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education)
  • Must demonstrate strong project skills including the ability to work diligently, to adapt to flexible requirements, to process business requirements and to assist in requirement gathering
  • Experience in Java, Hibernate, Oracle, optimizing queries
  • Experience in any of the CI tools Subversion, Jenkins, Maven, etc
  • Working knowledge of Javascript and JQuery
  • Excellent Analytical skills
  • Flexibility/Adaptability is required
  • Excellent Organization and Time Management skills
  • Excellent Communication skills and working in a team environment
