Job Description:
  • Determines the needs of end users of release documentation
  • Organize and write supporting documents for the solutions developed
  • Review materials submitted by other teams for style, clarity, punctuation, grammar, and content
  • Edits, rewrites and authenticates technical user manuals, application papers, product descriptions, data sheets, specification books and etc.
  • Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users' understanding
  • Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online videos
  • Improves editorial and visual standards for documents and recommends new designs, layouts and procedures as needed
  • Standardize content across platforms and media
  • Study product samples and/or conducts interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation
  • Work with technical staff to make products easier to use and thus need fewer instructions
  • Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and others to improve user experience
  • Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Mater's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field
  • Strong computer and word processing skills, in addition to writing, editing, proofreading, and page composition skills
  • A great attitude and hunger for learning
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • 3.0 GPA is preferred
  • Ability to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time
