Job Description:
  • Development and review of statistical models and data architecture
  • Develop and train machine learning models and other predictive and artificial intelligence tools
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completeing scope of work
  • Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
  • Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports
  • Individual will be responsible for quantitative analysis of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data working in small teams to develop, test, and harden advanced analytical models as required
  • Contribute to the design advanced analytics concepts to help the training enterprise to identify training requirements to meet emerging issues in a complex world
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Economic, Finance or other technical disciplines AND and 2 years' experience is required for this role. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.
  • 2-5 years of relevant consulting or industry experience applying predictive, prescriptive or AI models in financial analysis, transformation, or strategic initiative.
  • Experience with developing predictive models on accuracy using large data sets for high transactional volume environment
  • Experience with evaluating and measuring performance of models
  • Should have a firm understanding of common statistical modeling and techniques (e.g., linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, etc.).
  • Perform the above tasks using Python or R.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly, confidently, and diplomatically.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools.
  • Strong orientation to quantitative, data-driven analysis using stats packages such as SAS (modeler, statistics, text analytics); STATA; or SPSS; MATLAB; R.
  • Proficient in SAS reporting tools.
  • Understanding of Oracle database, Relational Database, Unstructured Data.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship or Permanent Resident is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Advanced statistics and machine learning/NLP techniques and algorithms using R, Python, Java on ML platforms such as Spark, H20 etc.
  • Prior experience in a learning environment.
