  • Barney's Police Supplies has been a cornerstone in the law enforcement/first responder industry for over 20 years. Barney's is a multi-faceted distributor of a wide variety of products geared towards serving the law enforcement, fire, military, and EMS communities, as well as, the industrial safety and private sectors. Barney's uniform division was developed to continue servicing our customers in LA, MS, and other states. We currently have six locations in LA and MS
  • Applicants for the CSR uniform position should be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
  • Highly motivated, high energy, customer service-oriented
  • Be familiar with computers and working with Microsoft applications and our POS System
  • Perform work as assigned by a divisional supervisor
  • Properly measure customers for uniforms
  • Problem solve individual sizing issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Support special projects and other team members as necessary
  • Ensure quality control measures on outbound orders
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Must have own transportation

Qualifications:
  • 18 years old or older
  • Must have a valid US state issues driver's license in good standing
  • Must reside in the Lafayette area
  • Must be able to work overtime on occasion
  • Must be able to use computer/tablet technology, Microsoft Office products and learn POS system
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
  • Able to lift 35-50 pounds
  • Barney's caters to the police, fire, EMS, and Military industries. Our product lines include many top of the line manufactures of safety products, firearms and accessories, duty gear, body armor, less lethal and explosives, vehicle equipment and graphics, and uniforms and accessories. Our new CSR will be responsible for customer order entry, quotations and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong personal and work ethic, eager to learn, very detail-oriented, superb time management, as well as, excellent customer service abilities and polite phone etiquette. Our new team member will work closely with many manufacturer representatives and our outside sales representatives solving any issues which may arise.
