Job Description:
  • Develop features and tools for the Waitr Platform that can scale
  • Lead development of critical projects and work with and mentor other engineers
  • Design database schemas and analyze performance to ensure scalability
  • Setup CI/CD pipelines for the continuous delivery of new services
  • Being proactive, a fast learner, and great communicator
  • Able to work in cross functional teams that own entire products that impact millions of users and revenue for thousands of partners
Qualifications:

  • Past experience shipping high quality, well tested code while over delivering and rapidly iterating
  • Past experience with Node.js in production systems
  • Past experience designing and documenting RESTful APIs in Swagger
  • Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery
  • Showing mastery in any of the above technologies via a GitHub or Stack Overflow profile
