Job Description:
  • Position will be responsible for performing Quality Assurance Inspection, Sampling and Testing Services on a LADOTD Highway Project
  • Responsibilities include Structural Concrete Inspection and Testing, Embankment and Base Course Inspection and Testing, Asphaltic Concrete Paving Inspection and Testing, and PCC Paving Inspection and Testing
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience performing inspection services on LADOTD highway projects
  • A minimum of one of the following LADOTD Certifications
  • Structural Concrete Inspection
  • Embankment and Base Course Inspection
  • Asphalt Concrete Paving Inspection
  • PCC Paving Inspection
  • LADOTD Nuclear gauge certification required
  • Read and understand construction drawing specifications
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Physical strengths, stamina and dexterity to lift and move 50 lbs., stop, bend and stand throughout the course of a 12 hour day in varying weather conditions in varying terrain
  • Technical Requirements:
  • Please list any software/ equipment/ programs used in this position along with any alternatives (i.e. R or SAS)
  • Please list any administrative requirements such as technical and/or report writing etc.
  • Other miscellaneous qualities:
  •  Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Products
