Job Description:
- Oversees the branch as a profit center
- Conducts outside business development calling efforts
- Achieve sales, service and operations goals.
- Sells bank products and services, answers inquiries and provides information to customers on various accounts, loan balances and other bank services; develops relationships and potential sales opportunities with non-customers.
- Attends to the needs of customers seeking loans following bank’s lending practices and procedures
- Opens a variety of new savings, certificates, checking and IRA accounts, Investment accounts, etc. Determines customer’s needs and provides counseling necessary to meet the stated needs and obtains required information.
- Conducts regular sales and operational staff meetings; provide daily supervision to the branch staff
- Maximizes service levels through scheduling, employee coaching and performance management.
- Provides guidance to staff in sales and operational areas, including daily sales activities, product knowledge and complex operational issues.
Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years experience in branch banking
- Possession of strong sales skills
- Develop strong working knowledge of banking center operations
- Ability to effectively resolve customer complaints, strong problem solving skills
- Ability to effectively lead, motivate and develop employees with positive results
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in Lending
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in scheduling
- Ability to talk with customers and non-customers regarding bank
