Job Description:
  • Define and implement IT infrastructure strategy, architecture and standards including networks, systems and storage, systems management, virtual server technology and cloud computing to ensure effective operations;
  • Oversee and assist with the implementation, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and administration of systems, including network infrastructure, firewalls, routers, switches, radios, modems, servers, storage, and databases to achieve availability, performance, and security objectives
  • Ensure a stable and highly available network and computing environment, including effective customer communications, problem solving, root cause analysis, and remediation
  • Develop and execute a plan to perform risk, business impact and vulnerability assessments and define risk mitigation strategies
  • Assist with managing security operation to ensure the integrity and compliance of company infrastructure and data
  • Maintain system, network, and security disaster recovery plans and possible scripts
  • Responsible for procuring, configuring, installing and monitoring network hardware and software as well as server/systems hardware and software
Qualifications:
  • Experience with building architecture roadmaps
  • Experience with web technologies and/or web-based hosting solutions (i.e. Azure)
  • Experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions
  • Knowledge of client-server networking and database management
  • Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction and provide hardware recommendations for complex technical issues
  • Experience planning and developing support processes and adhering to best practices
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Project mamangement experience
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
  • Experiene and/or knowledge of Infrastructure and Security management frameworks such as the Purdue Model, ISA-95, ISA-99
