Job Description:
- Reading schematics and installation of power supply wiring or conduit, along with understanding electrical schematics and/or P&ID drawings
- Installation/maintenance of various control systems
- Installation and/or maintenance of PLC based controls equipment and end devices. Examples include: pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, flow transmitters, level switches/transmitters, etc.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems such as: switch gear, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, lighting, and power supplies
- Troubleshoot or support 12 VDC, 24 VDC, 120 VDC, 240 VDC, or 480 VAC systems
- Troubleshooting assistance with electrical components, wiring diagrams, motors, control panels, switches, relays and circuits along with providing effective solutions
- Tracing out and identifying short circuits in wiring
- Cross checking others' work for loose connections, broken installation, and/or improper installation
- Maintaining company vehicles and equipment, along with keeping parts and supplies in order
- An understanding of, or past experience with construction, installation, or commissioning
- Measuring, cutting, and bending wire or conduit
- Must possess a strong work ethic, have a high standard of integrity and professionalism
- Must be a self-starter, must have excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to work without supervision
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
- Working knowledge of job site safety, as well as the ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
- Ability to establish, manage, plan and think strategically
- Ability to build and foster collaborative relationships with clients
- Must be drug free at all times
