Job Title: Operator/Blow Molding Department (Bottles)
Full-Time
Job Description:
  • Reports to blow molding machines and molds are running efficiently and producing with minimal down time
  • Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and adhere to APM's uniform guidelines
  • Oversee personnel in regards to overall safety awareness on the plant floor
  • Perform periodic inspections of all products being produced to ensure that product is free and clear of defects.
  • Understand processing standards and how they affect the production.
  • Clean and maintain department area verifying that all work area are free and clear of unwarranted items.
  • Correct any processing issues according to APM's PET Troubleshooting Guide and report any repair issues to a manager and/or mold technician as son as identified
  • Perform material handing tasks as needed.
  • Restocking production materials
  • Pulling completed pallets
  • Have working knowledge of Quality Assurance objectives
  • Identifying unacceptable product issues
  • Checking and approving "Finishing Goods" prior to warehousing verifying that all production reports, pallet signs, labels, etc. are attached and correct according to the product manufactured. 
  • Instructing Inspectors as needed.
  • Have working knowledge of all onsite machinery.
  • Biaxial Orientation Stretch-Blow Molding Machine
  • Auxiliaries: Chiller, Thermolator, Bagger, Resin Dryer, Resin Loader
  • Have working knowledge of all raw materials and their use.
  • Document and Communicate daily shift notes covering: Shift Change: Daily events of each machine.
  • Machine/Mold Checklist: Visual checks of each machine.
  • PET Waste: Documented waste weight per machine 
  • Plan and implement work flow on the plant floor as efficiently as possible according to production.
Qualifications
  • Valid Sate driver's license or state ID
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent adaptability, applied learning, teamwork oriented
  • Preferred: Mechanical or Maintenance experience
  • Past leadership role experience
