Job Description:
  • Opelousas area business is currently seeking a truck driver
  • Driver will operate a small rolloff truck and a bulk truck, driving to various sites to pickup containers
  • Worker will use a map to locate pickup sites
  • Driver will also be responsible for working in the warehouse between pickups
  • Warehouse work mainly includes sorting and condensing items for shipment
  • Temp for hire position/Monday-Friday (daytime hours)
  • $11.38/$16.35 an hour (DOE)
  • Benefits available after permanent hire
Qualifications:
  • Forklift experience will be a plus
  • Pre-employment screening
  • Flexibility in work being done, as position may require working as a backup for other positions
  • Good reading, writing and math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • CDL-A or CDL-B driver's license
  • Previous driving experience, operating dump truck or rolloff truck
