Job Description:
  • The B2B Business Analyst maintains the company's EAI platform and connected systems
  • Manages new and existing trading partner relationships and processes
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates needs of both internal and external users
  • Develops, deploys, and implements new relationships
  • Works under general supervision reporting to a manager/director
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
  • This is a full-time position in our Lafayette, LA corporate office
  • Responsible for the day to day maintenance of Microsoft BizTalk Server 2012R2 system, including
  • Business message issue resolution
  • Periodic maintenance of 45+ traditional EDI and other trading partner relationships
  • Support and maintenance for all EDI, XML, and other integration applications
  • Support and maintenance for all receive/send ports using protocols including AS2, HTTPS, sFTP, and RNIF
  • Works closely with the company's billing, pricing, and logistics groups to design, develop, test and deploy new B2B relationships and strategies
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Manage defect status and other quality issues
  • Find, isolate, document, regress and track bugs through resolution on multiple platforms
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering or minimum of 3+ years direct relevant work experience
  • Experience in writing SQL queries, executing stored procedures, and common maintenance tasks such as table copying
  • Experience working with Microsoft BizTalk Server or similar environment
  • Experience working with X12 and XML transaction sets
  • Experience working with XML, XSD, XSL, and XSLT
  • Experience with common B2B protocols, including AS2 and RNIF
  • Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
  • Solid understanding of common business practices including purchase order processing and the entire order-to-cash process
  • Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Solid presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, and a willingness to accept new challenges while work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server and Components including BRE, ESB, orchestrations, and custom pipelines
  • Experience with XML related mapping technologies, including XSL and XSLT. PIDX and cXML data formats
  • Competence with the ANSI X12 transaction sets 210, 204, 214, 997, and 990
  • Experience with common B2B target platforms used in the energy sector including ADP, Ariba, Oildex, Cortex, Tungsten among others
  • Working knowledge of C# .Net
  • Experience with version control software
  • Experience with McLeod Software's Loadmaster system
  • Trucking or supply chain logistics experience a plus
