Job Description:
  • Manage incidents and request escalation through to resolution, including root-cause analysis and remediation, in line with agreed service level agreements
  • Administering machines running Linux (CentOS)
  • Administering machines running Windows with Azure Active Directory
  • Setup and maintain a secure office network at multiple sites
  • Commissioning, maintaining, and repairing IT equipment
  • Using the Risk Management Framework to secure our systems
  • Automating and streamlining our development process, for example with continuous integration tools like Jenkins
  • Using and administering the Atlassian family of project management applications (Confluence, JIRA, Hipchat)
  • Furthermore, our software stack includes software development in modern C++ on Red Hat-family Linux. We use Confluence and JIRA for project management, Mercurial for version control, Jenkins for continuous integration, and ReviewBoard for code review. Experience with any of these tools is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants must be a U.S. Person as per 22 CFR 120.15 in order to satisfy export compliance requirements
  • In addition, applicants should meet the following requirements
  • Comfortable administering servers and devices running Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Deep understanding of networking including firewalls, DNSs, routing, and IPsec VoIP
  • Experience managing a NIS domain
  • Experience with VNWare ESXi
  • Experience administering Cisco devices
  • Passion for solving challenging problems
  • Able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
