Job Description:
  • Responsible for all aspects of the software developed by Potenza Innovations
  • Leads the decision-making regarding technology used to plan, build, test, maintain, document and scale all software systems
  • Engaged in research and development for emerging technologies which may be used in new or existing software applications
  • Deeply involved in the scoping of high-level features, as well as diagnosing system-wide issues and implementing solutions
  • Directly involved in the development of the most critical features of our software application
Qualifications:
  • Expert understanding of Object-Oriented PHP
  • Fluent understanding of Object-Oriented principles and design patterns
  • Expert understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience in one or more MVC frameworks including: Laravel, Zend Framework, Symfony, CakePHP or similar
  • Experience in one or more ORM frameworks, such as Doctrine 2
  • Complete understanding of git version control
  • Experience in one or more front-end Javascript Frameworks, including: ReactJS, Angular, Backbone.js
  • Expert understanding of Linux operating system and fluent grasp of the command line
  • Experience with API’s relevant to the Adtech space including Google AdWords, Bing, and Facebook Marketing
  • Experience with AWS cloud services, especially Redshift or other big data technologies
  • Experience with machine learning technologies
  • Experience or knowledge on database design, scaling and replication for large-scale use
