- Assist in managing opportunities through ticketing system
- Assure existing customer contact information is correct and up to date at all times.
- Generate accurate, high quality proposals and quotes
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to obtain pricing, availability and delivery, and technical information on products
- Create, manage, and provide various sales metric reports and forecasts as directed.
- Place accurate and efficient sales orders
- Monitor contract management system to ensure accuracy and to assist in avoiding a lapse in contract terms
- Ensure customer expectations are met by completing follow-up calls and pursuing add-on sales opportunities
- Provide Sales with administrative support in day to day sales operations
- Maintain industry product knowledge by individual research, attending training, etc
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent with education focused on technology, business, or a related degree; and 2 years of sales/sales support, lead management, or customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents including a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Demonstrated ability to use MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with Cisco Solutions, Cisco SMARTnet, as well as other technology partners is a plus
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management system such as ConnectWise
- Professional demeanor/presentation and phone skills. Detail and goal oriented.
- Ability to maintain consistent and reliable attendance. Hours may vary based on needs of sales and marketing activities to include some weekend and after-hours projects or events
