Job Description:
  • The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 
  • Assist in managing opportunities through ticketing system
  • Assure existing customer contact information is correct and up to date at all times. 
  • Generate accurate, high quality proposals and quotes
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to obtain pricing, availability and delivery, and technical information on products
  • Create, manage, and provide various sales metric reports and forecasts as directed. 
  • Place accurate and efficient sales orders
  • Monitor contract management system to ensure accuracy and to assist in avoiding a lapse in contract terms 
  • Ensure customer expectations are met by completing follow-up calls and pursuing add-on sales opportunities
  • Provide Sales with administrative support in day to day sales operations 
  • Maintain industry product knowledge by individual research, attending training, etc
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or equivalent with education focused on technology, business, or a related degree; and 2 years of sales/sales support, lead management, or customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents including a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume 
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Excel, Word and Outlook 
  • Experience with Cisco Solutions, Cisco SMARTnet, as well as other technology partners is a plus 
  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management system such as ConnectWise 
  • Professional demeanor/presentation and phone skills. Detail and goal oriented. 
  • Ability to maintain consistent and reliable attendance. Hours may vary based on needs of sales and marketing activities to include some weekend and after-hours projects or events
