Job Title: Business Analyst
Full Time Job Description:
- Product backlog management– work with the Product Strategy Group to define product requirements, and manage and prioritize the product backlog
- User stories – Write scrum-appropriate user stories with clear and testable acceptance criteria to represent the business requirements which will drive the sprint development process
- Requirements analysis and design – drive the backlog refinement and design process with the developers
- Functional tests – Define end-to-end functional test scenarios and work with the automated test group to automate them
- In-sprint testing – Perform in-sprint functional testing
- Self-starter – Work as the primary business analyst with the US Portal Scrum Team; must be a self-starter and work independently to drive progress on requirements, design, and testing to meet the goals of two week sprints
- Bachelors degree and 3 to 5 years experience with requirements analysis, design, and testing
- Familiarity with agile/scrum and its differences from traditional development approaches
- Agile/scrum experience as a product owner or as a business analyst working for a product owner or on a scrum development team. An understanding of the sprint-based development process, product backlog prioritization and refinement process, and the “keep it simple”/MVP concept of scrum.
- Experience writing scrum-appropriate user stories to capture business requirements and to serve as the basis for acceptance testing.
- Scrum product owner training or scrummaster training
- Scrum product owner certification
