Job Description:
  • Review and update consultant, physician's orders quarterly
  • Review and insure MARs are updated
  • Monitor doctor's orders changes
  • Administer all medications as per doctor's orders
  • Assists RN/LPN supervisor with Nursing/Client Case management duties as directed
  • Maintains adequate communication with pharmacy and pharmacy consultant. Receives delivery from pharmacy at any time of day/night
  • Check temperatures in med refrigerators in med rooms
  • Maintain patient equipment
  • Completes a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual health check on all patients/clients in assigned caseload
  • Complete Nursing Assessments for all incidents and all residents
  • Oversee bowel books
  • Assists with physician and dental clinics as needed
  • Documents daily findings in nurses notes
  • Other duties as assigned by RN/LPN Supervisor and/or Director
  • Maintain adequate stock of medical supplies
  • Reorder on all medications and supplies as needed
Qualifications:
  • Must have at least one year experience in Long term Care Facility, Nursing Home, or Home Health
  • Monday-Friday typically 8a-4p, plus On-Call rotation and after hours when necessary
