Job Description:
  • The Investor & Member Relations Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of new members, supporting investor and member retention efforts, and leading specific programing (eg., Open Houeses, 1A Ambassador program)
  • The position reports to the Director of Investor & Member Engagement and works with other staff members to help lead, coordinate, and advise on investor and member engagement activities
  • The role also involves helping position 1A as in intelligent, results-oriented organization that is a vehicle for achieving the aspirations of the region's business community
  • Responsibilites:
  • Managing incoming membership inquiries and supporting the onboarding process for investors and members, including facilitating meetings, quickly responding to questions and concerns, and ensuring commitments are fulfilled
  • Planning and executing 4-6 open houses for new and existing members annually
  • Organizing and leading monthly 1A Ambassador meetings, including managing communications, planning activities, and tracking points to keep the group engaged
  • Scheduling, coordinating, and attending grand openings/ribbon cuttings
  • Coordinating meetings with investors and members including scheduling, reserving conference rooms, assembling printed materials, and customizing leave-behind material
  • Serving as the 1A liaison for prospective and current members
  • Maintaining the integrity of contact database, including the prompt processing of all changes to investor and member contact information and notifying staff where appropriate
  • Generating qualified member leads and participating in sales calls and follow ups as needed
Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in customer relations
  • High degree of self-direction is expected, with the ability to take initiative to achieve goals
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in maintaining accurate records and contact information
  • Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills
  • Experience with customer relations management platforms (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is required
  • Bachelor's degree is required
