Job Title: EMT Security Officer

Job Description:
  • Provides protective services by making periodic tours to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment
  • Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises
  • Administers first aid treatment to and arranges for transport of sick or injured persons to medical facility, working as member of emergency medical team
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • One or more years of related Emergency Medical Technician experience preferred
  • Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing)
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal certification requirement for EMT-Basic (EMT-1) level
  • Our client requires EMT certification in the event needed but please note that 95% of job duties will consist of Security Officer responsibilities and duties
