Job Description:
  • Hearst of Hope is seeking a licensed mental health professional to fill a contract Sexual Abuse Response Center Therapist position
  • This is a professional position directly responsible to the agency Executive Director
  • Responsibilities of this position include providing individual and group therapy to adults; maintaining current case documentations; and participation in the agency's Direct Service Team
  • Some evening hours may be required
Qualifications:
  • Minimum qualifications include two years successful licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical psychologist, or related practice experience in an acute clinical setting
  • Familiarity with Hearts of Hope, its mission and its client base
  • Knowledge about symptoms and effects of trauma specifically sexual abuse and sexual assault
  • Advanced knowledge of and training in a range of appropriate clinical approaches and techniques including trauma-focused congnitive behavioral therapy
  • Work history that includes individual and group practice with adults
  • Invested in professional development

  • Effective communicator
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with people who are diverse in age, ethnicity, and cultural backgrounds is required
