Job Description:


  • Demonstrating a thorough understanding of automotive clients’ business, products and goals
  • Growing key relationships for existing automotive clients as well as partnering on new business opportunities
  • Managing all aspects of the accounts and ensuring that projects are on strategy, on time, on budget, and in-line with all automotive compliance regulations and industry best practices
  • Overseeing project timelines to ensure timely client deliverables
  • Developing integrated plans, creative and media briefs and sales presentations
  • Developing and maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients and internal resources
  • Partnering with all internal POTENZA companies to develop & track campaigns to ensure cohesive integration with overall brand strategy (i.e., partner with POTENZA Marketing to deliver effective PR and Social Media efforts, traditional media strategy, etc.)
  • Developing, scoping, and partnering on the presentation of proposal opportunities, estimates, briefs, and creative to the client for approval
  • Conducting ongoing category intelligence, including competitive creative, etc.
  • Utilizing proprietary dashboard software to track & analyze data, and suggest campaign optimizations based on performance metrics
  • Overseeing client budgets/spending
  • Partnering with finance to approve accurate billing on a monthly basis
  • Leading weekly status meeting with client
Qualifications:
  • Ideal candidates will have three to five years of experience in automotive advertising, account management and/or media sales
  • Have a BS/BA in marketing, business, communication or related area of study
  • Should be proficient in utilizing computers & smartphones for basic communication, document management, and word processing functions (i.e. emailing, text messaging, creating & managing documents in MS Office, iWork, and Adobe suites, etc.)
  • Applicants should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, should be resourceful, confident, and solutions-oriented, and must be able to create & close sales opportunities with existing and new clients
  • The ability to work on multiple accounts with different personality types, as well as strong attention to detail is required
  • Candidates should possess the flexibility and patience to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Automotive marketing and/or digital marketing experience is a plus
