Job Description:
  • ATC Group Services is looking for an experienced Supervisor that is currently licensed with LDEQ as an Asbestos Inspector or at a minimum holds current EPA Asbestos accreditation through a LA licensed training provider
  • Individual shall have a minimum of (5) five years of professional working experience within industrial settings such as refineries and chemical plants in the field of industrial hygiene specializing in asbestos identification/maintenance
  • The candidate will have complete understanding and practical knowledge of industrial processes
  • Ability to identify and understand equipment associated with the processes such as vessels, boilers, pumps, and associated pipes, etc.
  • Have experience in conducting in conducting industrial surveys on facility equipment
  • The candidate will also have basic understanding and experience in the proper use of appropriate PPE in an industrial setting such as hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, flame retardant clothing, harness, etc.
  • Asbestos Supervisor will lead to a team of three in an industrial facility for a minimum of 18 to 24 weeks to conduct an asbestos survey
  • The Asbestos Supervisor will be the lead for identifying and flagging possible asbestos sampling points for the team to sample and will assist in sampling as needed
  • Asbestos Supervisor will also direct the team and coordinate with ATC Project Manager on daily activities as well as site contact for client
  • *****Project hire (Hired for a limited period of time/for specific assignment)
Qualifications:
  • Current LDEQ Asbestos Inspector Certification
  • Current EPA Asbestos Accreditation
  • Current TWIC
  • 5 years minimum of asbestos sampling in an industry facility (Refineries and Chemical Plants)
  • Technical Requirements
  • Safety Council training (Basic Plus and Site Specifics)
  • Proficient in Microsoft software products
