Job Title: STEP Case Manager

Job Description:
- Maintain contact with clients on a monthly basis
- Conduct assessments using tools provided which will help determine the needs of the clients
- Individualize plan development and implementation to move clients toward self-sufficiency
- Maintain accurate and current client files
- Identify available resources and services for clients to utilize
- Provide counseling such as career counseling, life counseling, etc.
- Manage client’s case and funds allotted
- Issue reimbursements to clients for expenses incurred
- Assist in placing clients in activities as required by the STEP Program and monitor such activities
- Assist clients in obtaining adequate childcare as needed
- High school diploma is required
- Graduation from a four-year college with course work in psychology, sociology, public relations, communications, or related field is preferred, but not required
- Experience in employment interviewing, counseling, business administration, teaching or social work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered
- This position requires a valid and current driver’s license and automobile insurance as this job will require traveling throughout the service area
- Mileage is reimbursable for approved travel only
- Potential candidate must have their own reliable transportation
