Job Description:
  • Design and draft custom water treatment equipment using SolidWorks and Draftsight as directed by Applications Engineer
  • Reviews, analyzes, and applies project specifications relating to the following to Document Content, Structural Performance and Fabrication, Coatings, Piping Materials, Fabrication, and Valves, Pressure Vessels, Instrumentation, Electrical Installation, Human Factors, Overall Skid Size Constraints, Material Handling, Preferred Tie-Point Locations
  • Ensures that vendor-supplied information is complete and accurate as it relates to integration of sub-vendor equipment to H2O systems
  • Identifies cost saving opportunities
  • Populates and maintains database containing H2O standard equipment - cut-sheets, manuals and solid models relating to: valves, instrumentation, pumps, etc. 
  • Develops technical documentation (P&ID, GA, BOM) as directed by visionary for costing by procurement
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Drafting or Design
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • P&ID experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask, and ability to plan and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
  • Experience using SolidWorks and Draftsight
  • Effective verbal communication & interpersonal skills
