Job Description:
- Reporting directly to the IT Director, the Help Desk Technician is responsible for supporting 50+ end users, both in person and remotely, with various desktop, mobile and tablet devices
- Microsoft Windows desktop support experience is required
- This entry-level position will also be responsible for maintaining the computer hardware desktop environment by analyzing requirements; assisting in planning and implementing workstation roll-out projects; installing hardware and software solutions and providing hands on hardware diagnostics and repairs
- HP Autonomy iManage and Microsoft Office Suite experience is preferred, and the ability to gain proficiency on these platforms will be necessary
- The successful candidate will also be personable, possess good communication skills, and enjoy interacting with a diverse end user community
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required
- Responsiveness and time management will be critical components of the job
- One to three years working in a Helpdesk environment
- Associate or technical degree preferred
- High proficiency in all general hardware and software including Window 7/10, printing and desktop projects
- This is an 8 am – 5 pm staffed position
