Job Description:
  • Providing phone, e-mail, and in-person support to end-users for various issues, including e-mail, printers, LAN/WAN, standard computer images and applications, COTS and GOTS applications
  • Daily interface with clients through e-mail, phone, and in-person visits; representing CGI Federal’s interests in all client engagements
  • Create, monitor, and track incident/request work order tickets to ensure high quality client service
  • Address and correct any hardware, software, or connection (both local and remote VPN connectivity) issues, while minimizing work stoppage to our clients
  • Supporting desktop and laptop end-users by solving problems with Microsoft, Adobe, and other deployed software
  • Ensuring backup, recovery, and data restoration from workstations for clients during upgrades or when a problem with their system is diagnosed
  • Providing Audio/Visual Support for meetings
  • Installation of printers (network and local), scanners, desktop and laptop computers (and the relevant peripherals)
  • Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma plus two years of directly related experience
  • Must be knowledgeable about using, managing, and troubleshooting Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems
  • Must be knowledgeable about supporting all standard Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have knowledge of basic network support
  • Must possess excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and oral/written communication, skills
  • Must have the ability to both work within a team, and independently without supervision
  • Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and poise while dealing with clients and executives on daily basis
  • Desired Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of two to four years of enterprise experience in commercial or government environment is preferred
  • MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician on Windows 7 or MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7 or Windows 10 certification is preferred
  • ITIL Foundations certification is preferred
