Job Title: Database Engineer - Teradata/DB2/Oracle/SQL

Qualifications:
  • Must have one of the following - Database experience with: Teradata, DB2, Oracle or SQL.
  • Must have - Table Loads, Updates, Inserts, DDL – Teradata/DB2/Oracle  
  • Proficient in writing SQL – Simple/Medium/Complex SQL’s  
  • Needs to have strong navigation in both 3NF and Star Schemas (denormalized) 
  • Must have - Able to debug complicated codes, recommends the fixes required and fix also. Data Analysis is key
  • Must have - Basic Operation knowledge of UNIX 
  • Must have - Ability to work independently with minimum guidance after Initial training on the environment 
  • Good to have - Proficient in SAS – Base SAS & Macros 
  • Good to have - Healthcare knowledge/experience past experience with Claims, Provider, Eligibility 
  • Good to have - Agile experience Need to have solid experience in at least one of the Object Oriented Programming Language preferably Python, Perl ,Scala, Java or .Net Prior Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology is mandatory
  • Bachelor’s degree required, or advanced experience with the business
