Job Description:
- The Survey Sales Specialist will be responsible for prospecting and identifying potential opportunities and closing high value deals with land surveying and civil engineering firms, governmental entities, educational institutions, and mining/landfill companies in your dedicated sales territory
- You will be selling state of the art products to the Surveying, Engineering and Construction community, including Topcon GPS, surveying instruments, robotic total stations, scanners and promoting UAV equipment
- Job duties include:
- Sell equipment, accessories, rentals and service as a total customer solution
- Build long term relationships within a territory to maximize customer and company profitability
- Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations
- Provide timely follow up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
- 1-3 years sales experience, preferably in a related industry
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Solid understanding of local market conditions
- Ability to develop relationships with customers and provide real, effective solutions
- Willingness to learn about the products we sell
- Positive, sales-oriented personality
- Business-like, professional appearance
