Job Description:
- Provides SAS engineering leadership and oversight on design, engineering and development of SAS information technology solutions
- Responsible for most complex, multi-site, multi domain SAS activities and integration
- Manages the troubleshooting and resolution of SAS infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements and customer expectations
- Partners with IT leadership on SAS engineering related issues and strategies
- SAS 9.4 installation on Unix and Win 7 of the following: SAS Enterprise Miner (EM), SAS Enterprise Guide 6.1+ (EG), Base SAS, SAS EDM, SAS Management Console
- SAS datasource connectivity to the following: Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2
Qualifications:
- SAS System Administration
- Level 3 SAS Toolset Support
- SAS Enterprise Miner (EM)
- SAS Enterprise Guide 6.1+ (EG)
- Base SAS
- SAS Management Console
- Unix systems (AIX/Linux)
- Migrating from Base SAS to SAS EG
- SAS Metadata Administration
- SAS 9.4 Installation on Unix, of the following:
- SAS Enterprise Miner (EM)
- SAS Enterprise Guide 6.1+ (EG)
- SAS datasource connectivity to the following:
- Hadoop/Impala
- Oracle
- SQL Server
- Teradata
- DB2
- Requirements gathering
- Project Management
- SAS Vendor Management
- Shell Scripting
- Automation
- NOT a SAS Developer
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or at least six years or more experience in all phases of SAS infrastructure management and administration or its equivalent in education and work experience
