Job Description:
  • ATC Group Services is seeking an energetic, detail oriented and outgoing Human Resources Assistant
  • Three years’ experience in HR and/or Benefits Administration is required
  • Ideal candidate will be able to manage numerous tasks and respond professionally to requests for assistance
  • Full time - working 30-40 hours per week, must be able to work flex schedule as needed
  • Maintains the HR Database (HRIS) and generates scheduled or requested reports to assist management
  • Updates employee phone directory
  • Maintains a database of employee contact information
  • Periodically audits the database to ensure accuracy
  • Responsible for employment and compliance relative to regulatory concerns and reporting
  • Responsible for new hire and termination process to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Maintains human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time
  • Responsible for reconciling all the monthly billing
  • Responsible for I-9 audits and filing documents
  • Responsible for updating and distributing HR administrative forms and manuals
  • Assist with open enrollment and implementation into ADP system
  • Conduct internal audits and reconcile discrepancies, in addition to responding to various outside audits upon request
  • Assist with FMLA. Prepare and distrubte reports as needed (EEO/Vets - are examples)
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills- outgoing, patient, professional
  • Anticipate a variety of needs and problems and proactively suggest solutions
  • Must be able to use excellent independent judgement and discretion in a variety of situations
  • Knowledge of general HR policies and employment law
  • Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, HRIS systems, Intranet - ADP HRIS experienced desired
  • Detail oriented Self-starter with outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work courteously and have a professional attitude
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes accuracy and timeliness
  • Over time on weekends may be required
  • Preferred Skills:  Bachelor’s degree in related field or 3 years of HR experience or related field
