Job Description:
- Welcome and greet guests
- Inform guests of specials any menu changes
- Make recommendations you feel your guests will enjoy
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
- Responsible for maintaining the menu board for the porch with correct information from daily menu issued out by the Food & Beverage Coordinator
- Establish a “clean as you go” concept for area of interest and expect a daily inspection of your area
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
- Maintain clean service areas
- Sweep dining area and wipe tables at end of each shift
- Keep window sills, baseboards, and chair rails clean and free of dust
- Keep register area clean and clutter free
- Replenish condiments and alcohol as needed
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
- Count start up money bag
- Be ready and willing to assist servers as situations arise
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
- Attend scheduled training classes as requested by Food & Beverage Coordinator
- Responsible for reporting to work on time and dressed in uniform
- Must practice excellent personal hygiene
- Clothes must be clean and hair neatly combed
