Job Description:
  • Welcome and greet guests
  • Inform guests of specials any menu changes
  • Make recommendations you feel your guests will enjoy
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
  • Responsible for maintaining the menu board for the porch with correct information from daily menu issued out by the Food & Beverage Coordinator
  • Establish a “clean as you go” concept for area of interest and expect a daily inspection of your area
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
  • Maintain clean service areas
  • Sweep dining area and wipe tables at end of each shift
  • Keep window sills, baseboards, and chair rails clean and free of dust
  • Keep register area clean and clutter free
  • Replenish condiments and alcohol as needed
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
  • Count start up money bag
  • Be ready and willing to assist servers as situations arise
  • Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
  • Attend scheduled training classes as requested by Food & Beverage Coordinator
  • Responsible for reporting to work on time and dressed in uniform
Qualifications:
  • Must practice excellent personal hygiene
  • Clothes must be clean and hair neatly combed
