Job Description:
- Responsible for managing public relations and promotion of:
- Overall marketing of MPCS
- Fundraising events & programs
- Client programs & services
- Media relations (including sponsorships, press releases & production of promotional spots)
- Responsible for the development and management of social media
- Responsible for developing and executing a communications and outreach plan in surrounding parishes
- Responsible for the implementation and management of new marketing and fundraising campaigns such as:
- Individual Giving
- Employee Giving Responsible for managing MPCS’ participation in: Health fairs and community organization meetings
- Responsible for representing and speaking on behalf of MPCS
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
- The position requires experience in marketing, public relations, public speaking and fundraising - preferably in a non-profit organization
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- TV media experience is a plus
- Candidate should be a good-natured self-starter with strong interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking, organizational, time management and technology skills
