Job Title: Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Full-Time
Job Description:
  • Deploy and manage successful marketing campaigns
  • Create and edit content for print and digital media
  • Manage the Lafayette Bar’s website and social media accounts 
  • Design all materials including posters, brochures, flyers, and invitations 
  • Establish and maintain a solid working relationship with all local media outlets 
  • Design layout and manage publication of the Association’s bi-monthly newsletter The Promulgator
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned by the Executive Director
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communications skills, including writing and editing 
  • Graphic design capabilities including experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop or Photoshop Elements 
  • Fundraising or sales experience a plus 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Publisher, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with relational databases, such as Access or similar 
  • Experience using both Mac and PC systems preferred but not required
  • Available to attend after-hours events and able to complete occasional overnight travel
